"Shore Leave" is the second mission of Crysis Warhead. Psycho heads out in search of Sean O'Neill and his crashed jet.

PlotEdit

Psycho is instructed by Commander Emerson to retrieve the flight camera from O'Neill's jet. He does so and is told to investigate a mysterious container the North Koreans have, but Psycho wishes to rescue O'Neill first. He does so, and they observe the KPA harbor, where they see a submarine coming to pick up the container. Emerson says that the container may hold a nuclear warhead. They commander two armored security vehicles and drive off to the extraction site. At the landing zone, Psycho fights off KPA soldiers until a VTOL can land and extract O'Neill. Psycho is then told to infiltrate the harbor where the container is located, and he successfully boards the submarine. Once onboard, he sees that the container holds not a warhead, but a tentacled creature. Suddenly, the creature releases energy that knocks Psycho out. Psycho wakes up to find Colonel Ji-Sung Lee holding him captive. Lee uses a handheld electrocution device to torture Psycho, explaining the Geneva Convention does not apply because Psycho's nanosuit is not a recognized uniform. Suddenly, the alien ship releases a huge blast of energy.
